WHO WE ARE
From family tradition to industrial growth.
The history of FONDMETAL begins in Palosco, a small town between Bergamo and Brescia. The company was established as an aluminium foundry for third parties, continuing what is a family tradition: in fact, as early as 1908, the great-grandfather of Stefano and Alessandra Rumi, the current owners of Fondmetal, owned a cast iron foundry.
At the beginning, Fondmetal, founded by Gabriele Rumi (Stefano and Alessandra’s father), dealt with the production of the most varied parts, but with the passing of time, both due to customer demands and Rumi’s passion for cars and racing, the company specialized more and more in the production of parts for the automotive industry.
